With more middle-age degree holders becoming taxi drivers, it is indeed worrying. With the release of this semester's results, I realised that lab reports do play a major role in pulling up my grades. Unfortunately, I was exempted from labs.

But this is not an excuse for me being a third class student. I am not smart, just diligent. I shall no longer rely on exam tips or whatsoever. It is the hard work recipe that I need to activate. Less guilt-free days, more sleep and I shall remember to take my pills.

I have decided to abandon facebook/msn. Hence, do not look for me unless it is work-related.

On a lighter note, I have caught two movies during my vacation in HK. "Fung Wan II" or the Storm Warriors II in cantonese sounded nice but it was not as good as the first one. However, Avatar was unexpectedly good. I was impressed with the alien languages and the messages it sends.

Somehow I thought that Taiwan was more of a land of fengshui and beliefs. The night markets and variety shows were the two things that I liked the best. As for the beliefs and stories, I listened to them with an open mind. Somehow they believe that Gods and Fengshui are attributed to success. What about the hard work equation? I would like to think that the former do play a role in attaining a peaceful mind and some of the intangible matters. The former would complement the latter and success is relative.
